Timothy William Erne, 50, son of local resident,Richard "Dick" Erne, died at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, on Thursday, January 11, 1996, at 9:46 p.m.
Mr. Erne was born November 1, 1945, in Indianapolis to Richard C. and June M. Ward Erne.
He was reared in Indianapolis, and lived in Fort Wayne for a brief time. He had lived in Terre Haute for 20 years. He graduated from Arsenal Tech High School, Indianapolis, and obtained a two-year degree in drafting from the Michigan Trade School. He was an electrical draftsman for Ransburg Drafting Company, and for the last 20 years served as general manager of M.S.M. Movie Theater in Indiana and southern Ohio.
Survivors include a son, Tony Erne, Indianapolis; his father and step-mother, Richard "Dick" and Karen Erne, Columbia City; sisters, Mary Jo Schaaf, Barbee Lake (Warsaw); and Cathy Erne, Columbia City; brothers, Robin, Murfreesboro, Tenn; Ted, Columbia City; and Patrick, Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by his mother, June Erne.
