He married Flora Elizabeth Garnett in Pittsburgh PA.
He was survived by his wife and sons; Walter(Herky),Carl(Bud) and William (Billy)Hooper, many grandchildren,
A granddaughter Patsy Ann Hooper whom he and Flora raised.
Sisters; Isabelle Hayes Ouzts of Shreveport LA., Juanita Hooper Farmer of Dennison TX., Louise Hooper of Texas, Mary Hooper Tate Odell of Forrest City AR., A brother Horace H. Hooper of Kingman AZ.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, his grandparents Henry Hiram Hooper and Laura Gabrial Ellsworth of Nacogdoches TX., his son David Paul Hooper of Whittier CA., a grandson Walter Edward Hooper of Ohio, and a brother Weldon Romangy Hooper of Pittsburgh, PA.
Internment was in Rose Hills Cemetery, Juniper Lawn, Sec.7,
Lot 3912, Grave 3, Entrance Gate 1.
