Timothy D. Christensen, age 54, of Manitowoc, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Tim was born on January 14, 1962, in Manitowoc, a son of Marlene (Check) Christensen and the late Donald L. Christensen. He attended local schools and worked as a painter all his life. Tim was the owner of Christy's Color & Graphic Design and was employed at Burger Boat Co. for a few years. On February 1, 2014, he married Sarah Boeckman at Open Bible Baptist Church, Manitowoc. Tim enjoyed riding his Harley, water skiing, jet skiing, snowmobiling and spending time with his family and friends. He was a unique and loving guy, who lived life wide open.

Survivors include his wife: Sarah Christensen; his mother: Marlene Christensen; his sons: Jacob Christensen Goodearle and his daughter, Mariah Rose Christensen and Derek Christensen; three brothers: Daniel (Kim) Christensen, David (Jeanne) Christensen and Thomas Christensen; and two sisters: Lisa Neuenfeldt and Heidi (Derek) Naibert. He is further survived by his nephews and nieces: Mitchell Christensen, Joshua (Dani) Neuenfeldt, Ana Neuenfeldt and fiancé, Sebastian Peterson, Amanda (Aaron) Spurlin, Alexandra Christensen, Thomas Jr. and special niece and goddaughter, Alyssa "Lizard" Naibert; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: William J. And Patricia Boeckman, his step children: Zachary (Dawn) Seefeldt and their son, Alex Seefeldt and Danielle Schultz; brother-in-law: William D. (Tracy) Boeckman; aunts and uncles: Bernice Kohlbeck, Gerald (Aundra) Kohlbeck, Beverly Stegmann, Ann Kleman, Carol(Joe) Van Ells and Joyce Check; along with many loving cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Frank and Anna "Nannie" Check, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Roy and Elizabeth Kohlbeck Christensen; uncles and aunts: Norbert (Harriet) Kohlbeck, Kenneth Kohlbeck, Victor (Olga) Kohlbeck, Robert Stegmann, Jack Konop, Bob Kleman, Stan (Leatrice) Check, Frank Check, Jr. and Michael Boeckman.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Roger Harrison with burial of his cremated remains to take place at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m.
