Milton R. Pahmeier, 73, Town Meeme resident, went home to his Lord on Friday, February 12, 2016, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Milton was born March 1, 1942 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Fred and Ella Diener Pahmeier. He was a 1960 graduate of Kiel High School. After high school, Milton became a member of the 377 Army Reserve Unit in Manitowoc. On May 1, 1968, Milton was united in marriage to Ellen P. Schnell at St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. The couple resided in Cleveland and the marriage was blessed with two children. Milton was employed at the Cleveland Coop., and later with Sears and Roebuck Co. as an auto mechanic and service technician. His hobbies included music, gardening, deer hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He particularly enjoyed golf cart rides with his grandchildren. Milton was a lifelong member of St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland, where he served on the church council as president, elder, and trustee. His memberships also include the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Dept. for 30 years, and the Lakeshore Disaster Support Group. Milton is survived by his wife, Ellen, Town Meeme; two sons, Michael (Gail), Town Meeme and Robert (Christine), Stevens Point; four grandchildren, Sara and Adam, Town Meeme, Kainoa and Kekoa, Stevens Point; one sister, Doris (Dave) Daun, Fond du Lac; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Pahmeier, Howards Grove; two brothers-in-law, Ed (Kathy) Schnell, OK., and Ken (Lynn) Schnell, Cleveland; as well as other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by one brother and his wife, Victor (Donna) Pahmeier. Funeral services for Milton will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at St John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1255 West Washington Ave., Cleveland. Pastor David Endorf will officiate and burial will follow at St. Johannes Cemetery, Cleveland.
