Sister Mary Francine Gould, BVM, 95, of Marian Hall, 1050 Carmel Drive, died at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at Marian Hall.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marian Hall Chapel, with burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Marian Hall, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. The Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

Sister Mary was a high school teacher in Chicago; a college teacher at Mundelein College, Chicago, and Clarke College, Dubuque.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1905, in Chicago, daughter of Francis and Jennie (Crowley) Gould.

She made her first profession of religious vows on Aug. 15, 1934, and her final profession of religious vows on Aug. 15, 1940.

Surviving are a cousin, Sister Margaret Irene Healy, BVM, of Chicago; nieces and other cousins; and the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with whom she shared life for 73 years.

Memorials may be given to the Sisters of Charity BVM Retirement Fund.
