LIFE ENDS FOR MRS. A. D. CARL - Four Months Illness Proves Fatal: Funeral Services Next Sunday

MRS. MARGARET CARL, wife of A. D. Carl, died this morning shortly after 12 o'clock at her home on Garfield street extended, after an illness of four months. Deceased was aged 56 years and was a resident of Waynesboro for the past 21 years. Death was caused by dropsy.

Deceased was born in Germany, the daughter of Jacob Cramer. During her residence in Waynesboro, she has been a member of the First United Brethren church.

Surviving are her husband, A. D. Carl and two brothers, John Cramer, of Fayetteville, and Jacob Cramer, of Stoufferstown, and two sisters, Miss Catherine Cramer, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Anna Miller, Shippensburg. Two adopted children which Mr. and Mrs. Carl adopted in early childhood also survive, Miss Agnes Powell, New York city, and William E. Martin, in service with the United States army.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at the First United Brethren church in charge of Rev. J. P. Koontz. Interment will be made in Burns Hill cemetery. Services at the church will be at 2 o'clock.
