Gerald E. (Jerry) Kuik, Sr., age 79, a Manitowoc resident, died Monday morning February 15, 2016 at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice of Sheboygan Falls. Jerry was born on October 16, 1936 in Dancy, Wisconsin, son of the late John and Florence (Holland) Kuik. Jerry was a graduate of Dancy public school systems. On June 2, 1962 he married the former Bonnie Schultz at Westley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Jerry was employed with Mirro Aluminum and Wallender Construction Companies of Manitowoc. Jerry also owned and operated Jerry's Sharp-All Shop for many years. Survivors include his wife; Bonnie, Manitowoc, three sons and daughters-in-law; Gerald and Linda Kuik, Jr. Kellnersville, Lawrence and Marlene Kuik, Mishicot, Kevin and Mary Kuik, Manitowoc, three daughters and one son-in-law; Cynthia and Randall Knier, St. Nazianz, Gina Kuik, Two Rivers, Tammy Langnese, Manitowoc, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two brothers and one sister-in-law; Charles Kuik, Wausau, Robert and Darlene Kuik, Manitowoc, one sister; Faye Taylor, Mosinee, Wisconsin. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.Jerry was also preceded in death by three brothers; James, Harold and John. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and a Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Judine Duerwaechter.
