Internment will follow at New Pine Hill Cemetery, Sicily Island, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Ruby Earline Cater was born on Tuesday, March 25, 1930 in Fayette, MS. and passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Shreveport, LA. She was a resident of Harrisonburg, a member of Harrisonburg First Baptist Church
She was preceded in death by his Father- Cammie Clawson; Mother- Sophie Trichel Clawson; 2 Sisters-Marjorie Brewer and Anne Acklan.
She is survived by
Her husband of 66 years- Thomas L. Cater of Harrisonburg, LA; Son- Thomas G. Cater and his wife Jessica of Harrisonburg, LA; Son- Mike Cater and his wife Terri of Harrisonburg, LA; Son- Paul Cater and his wife Melissa of Harrisonburg, LA; 3 Grandsons- Jeffery Cater, Tyler Cater and Casey Cater; 6 Granddaughters- Jennifer Tiffee, Brooke Holland, Kylie Miller, Coty Parr, Shawn Russell and Erica Cater.
She is also survived by 7 Great-Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Cater, Tyler Cater, Casey Cater, Jacob Cater, Braxton Tiffee, Jared Holland, Wil Miller, Dra' Parr, Brennen Russell and Lee Cater
