Linda L. Taylor age 67 of Little River-Academy died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. She was born December 14, 1948 in St. Ignatius, MT to Jerl Charles and Ara Roberta (Green) Weber. Linda married William Sherman Taylor on May 4, 1996 in Whitehall, TX.
Linda proudly served as a surgical technician in the U.S. Army for 2 years and retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Temple in 2011. She had lived in the Central Texas area since 1969.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jerl and Ara Weber, her brothers Charles Weber and Jerl "Buzz" Weber, and her sister Katie Seiller.
Linda will be greatly missed by her husband William Taylor of Little River-Academy, her daughter Sandra Williams and husband Ben of Bastrop, her daughter Dianne Duke and husband James of Huntington Beach, CA, her son Lee Stewart and wife Christine of Elgin, her son Duwayne Taylor of Pendleton, her daughter Ann Taylor of Temple, and her son Damion Taylor of Troy; her siblings Hazel Tressler, Roberta (Dolly) Fite, Rosalie Noel, Darlene and Ray Soloman, James and Arlene Weber, Eleanore and Jack Mitchel, Lydia and Kenneth Pippins, John Weber, Milton Weber, and Terry and Micheal McGuire; her 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:00AM on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Lindale, TX. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6-8:00PM at the funeral home.
