Marleen M. Roepke, age 79, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life early Sunday morning, February 21, 2016 at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center where she had resided the past two weeks.

Marleen was born April 6, 1936 in Algoma. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Theresa Stehula Koutsky. Marleen attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1954. On October 26, 1957 she married John C. Roepke at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2010. Marleen was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one son: Steven (Darlene) Roepke, Manitowoc; one daughter: Susan Roepke, Manitowoc; two grandsons: Joshua Roepke and Willard Dorsett; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Theresa Koutsky; husband: John Roepke; and her sister: Kathleen Tadych.

Private memorial services for the family will be held Thursday morning, February 25, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Sims. Burial of the cremains will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
