Morristown-Francis Patrick Crosby, 72, Morristown and North Port, FL, died Nov. 9, 2008 died in North Port.
Mr. Crosby worked on the St. Law. Seaway and then the state Department of Transportation in 1958, retiring in 1990.
Born Nov. 1, 1935, in Morristown, son of John and Verda Newcombe Crosby, he graduated from Morristown Central School in 1955 and entered the USA.
He married Nancy Langtry on June 15, 1958, in Ogdensburg.
Surviving besides his wife, of Brier Hill, are a daughter, Lori Crosby, Ogdensburg; a son Daniel, Morristown; three brothers and two sisters in law, Lynn "Jiggs" and Imogene, Cecil and Shirley and Robert "Bing"; four sisters and a brother in law, Rose Schroh, Alma Jackson, Katherine and Philip Barse and Sylvia Crosby, all of Morristown, and five grandchildren.
Two brothers, Bernard "Barney" and John W., and a sister, Verda Lennox died before him.
A graveside service at Sunnyside Cemetery with Lois Langtry officiating. Arrangements with Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.
