Funeral services for Miss Viola Boston, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Boston, who died on Feb. 1st of anemia and liver trouble, were held at St. Patrick's Church on last Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial was made at the Catholic cemetery.

The pall bearers were Carl Hasselman, Peter Waldschmidt, Herbert Spires, Fred Block, Will Bonk and Eilert Rients. The flower bearers were Bernadine Waldschmidt, Elizabeth Waldschmidt, Mary Grieser, Lillian Wyas, Teresa Waldschmidt, and Florence Boston.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boston and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boston and daughter, Florence, of Panola; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Boston, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boston and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Beckman of Flanagan; Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Folkers and son of Benson; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Brandt and Miss Kathryn Brandt of Peoria; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Rachke of Toluca, and Frank Kiesler of Chicago.

Miss Viola Boston died Sunday morning at 5:30 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Boston [should say Fred], southeast of Minonk. She had long been a sufferer with tuberculosis, and for the past four months, her condition had been critical.

Viola was born at the home where she died, her birth taking place on April 25, 1903. By her gentle disposition through the ills that begot her, she drew to her the admiration and love of her many friends, and her leaving will cause poignant sorrow.

Besides the parents, there survives one brother, Everett, at home.

Viola was a member of the St. Patrick's Church and of the Young Ladies' Sodality.
