He was born in Codorus Township, a son of the late Franklin C. and Daisy S. (Nace) Albright.
Mr. Albright retired from Godfrey Brothers Meats in Loganville, where he was employed as a meat cutter for over 34 years. He had farmed in the Hametown area of Shrewsbury Township for most of his life.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Albert was a member of St. Paul (Hametown) Lutheran Church, where he sang in the church choir, served on the church council, assisted with the Ham Dinners, and was a Cemetery Trustee for many years.
Along with his wife, he also leaves a son, David L. Albright of Glen Rock; a daughter, Connie A. Albright of York; three grandchildren; a brother, Stewart Albright of Spring Grove; and a sister, Dorothy Smith of York.
