Bert, who was taken down with pneumonia, died Saturday evening. The shock of his death, together with her weakened condition, was too much for the mother and she passed away Monday evening at about 9 o'clock. It was decided to hold a double funeral. The Royal Neighbors assisted at the Mrs Colravy obsequies, while the American Legion gave military honors for the son, who was a veteran of the World war, with overseas service.
Bert was born at the family home Aug. 18, 1896, and had always made his home there, assisting with the farming. He was an exemplary young man, highly regarded by all.
The mother's maiden name was Jennie Marshall and she was born near Dana, Nov. 15, 1874, and was married at St Patrick's church in this city in 1894 to Edward Colravy, who survives her. The children who survive are Mrs Floyd Jones of El Paso, and Mildred, Edmund and Gene, at home. One son, Russell, died six years ago.
Mrs Colravy is also survived by her parents, Mr and Mrs Robert Marshall, who moved to Gary, Ind., from Toluca fourteen years ago, and by the following brother and sisters: Robert Marshall, Mrs P. J. O'Brien and Mrs M. E. Mylott, all of Gary, Ind., and Mrs T. J. Hines and Mrs A. Parker, both of Chicago. Two brothers preceded her in death, Robert Marshall, former superintendent of the schools in Toluca, passing away fourteen years ago, and Edward Marshall passing away as a small child.
Mrs Colravy was a dearly beloved woman, one who will not only be sadly missed in the home but in the entire neighborhood.
