William X. Perry

William X. Perry, 67, of Kirkland, died Wednesday, June 22, 1994, at his home.

He was born October 8, 1926 in Nashville, Tenn., the son of Monroe and Ollie (Fitzgerald) Perry. He married Shirley Zech on October 1, 1955 in Chicago.

He was a quality control inspector for Union Special Corporation in Huntley, retiring in 1991 after 42 years.

He was a member of St. Catherine of Genoa Church, a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of the Sycamore American Legion. He was a former member of the Bloomingdale Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, of Kirkland; one daughter, Cheryl (Edward) Dodson of Kirkland; and three grandchildren, Danny, Brian and Aaron Dodson, also of Kirkland; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph Perry.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine of Genoa Church. Burial will be at St. Catherine Cemetery in Genoa. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday at Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, Genoa.
