Born in Portage, Wis., on Nov. 20, 1860, she spent her early life in Wisconsin and in Chicago, Ill., where in 1902 she was united in marriage to John Dolezal, who brought her to his country home near San Pierre, Ind.
After dissolving partnership with John Dolezal and Joseph Dolezal (now deceased) of North Judson, the Dolezal family moved to San Pierre. Here they made their home in the residence next to the John Dolezal & Sons store where Mrs. Dolezal spent the remainder of her life. Mr. Dolezal died in 1936.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Pauline Tannehill of San Pierre; a son, Robert, of Carroll, Iowa; and seven stepchildren, namely, Henry, of Cicero, Ill., Otto and John of San Pierre; Mrs. Josephine Cesal of Tefft; Mrs. Rose Koehler, Mrs. Harry Stalbaum and Miss Helen Dolezal of San Pierre. Twenty-four grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral services were conducted from the All Saints Catholic church of San Pierre on Monday morning, Rev. Louis Jeziorski, officiating. Interment was in the San Pierre cemetery.
