Mr. Frank A. Mattos, 81, of Hilo, HI, died at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center on Sunday, February 7, 2016. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii and was a retired truck driver with the State of Hawaii Dept. of Transportation.

Friends may call at the Dodo Mortuary chapel on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM, where a Prayer Service will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at the Alae Cemetery. The family requests that casual attire be worn to the services.

He is survived by his: Daughters, Joanne (Toan) Mai of Hilo, HI and Darlene (Scott) Martin of Modesto, CA; Son, Corey (Tammy) Mattos of Hilo, HI; six grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; brothers in law and sisters in law.
