He was born April 6, 1942 in Leesburg, Florida, the son of the late Odie Oscar and Elma (Todd) Tinch. Oscar was a self employed landscaper. He was married to his wife Rosetta (Cox) Tinch, who survives, for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rosetta Tinch; his children, Loretta Pyles (husband-Tony); Sheila J. Hunt; Tina Hall (husband-Jeff); Shanna Shields (husband-Jerry); Jessica Stilwil; Amanda Tinch; and William Oscar Tinch; three sisters, Thelma Poore; Carol Summers; Velma Summerford; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a newborn son, Johnny Lee Tinch; and two brothers, Claude and Gene Tinch.
