Dishaw, Flora E. Bay City, Michigan passed away Saturday evening, November 15, 2003at the Bay Medical Care Facility, age 93 years. Flora E. Jones was born May 18, 1910 in Scuddy, Kentucky to the late John and Raney (Combs) Jones. She was married to Arthur L. Dishaw in 1947. He preceded her in death September 9, 1995. Flora was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Essexville. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Coyer and Margaret and Duane Jean all of Bay City and daughter-in-law, Alma Dishaw; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and twenty-six great great grandchildren. Flora was preceded in death by one son, Leo Arthur, Jr and one grandson, Gary Coyer. The Funeral Mass will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Thomas J. McNamara will officiate. Private interment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stapish Cederberg Funeral Home East on Monday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. where there will be a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Flora will lie in state at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church or the charity of donors choice. Flora's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Bay Medical Care Facility for the loving care given to Flora especially the nurses at 2 west and also to Nancy Jacobs from St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
