Jenetta Lynn, 88, Taken By Death
NEW LONDON - Miss Jenetta Lynn, 88, retired school instructor, died Saturday at 2:30 a.m. at the Sizemore nursing home where she had been a patient for one and one-half years.
Jenetta Mary Lynn, daughter of Anna Mary (Ralston) and Edward Perrin Lynn was born in Osage City, Kansas, April 20, 1872. She came to New London with her parents when a very small girl and spent the remainder of her life there.
Miss Lynn was an instructor in the New London school for 35 years. She was a member of the New London Presbyterian church, Chapter E. V. of P. E. O. and an honorary member of the Woman's Club.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ella Ogg of New London and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral Services will be Monday at 2 p. m. at the Elliot Chapel in New London with the Rev. Harvey G. Quandt, pastor of the Methodist church officiating.
Interment will be in Burge Cemetery.
