Arville R. Adams, age 78, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday morning, February 23, 2016, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 10, 1938, in La Follette, Tennessee, to his parents George & Martha (Teague) Adams. On June 25, 1965, he married Barbara A. Null in Nashville, Ohio, and together they shared a life for over 50 years. Arville retired from Shook Construction after over 30 years of service and was a member of the Vandalia Amvets and American Legion post. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Barbara Adams; son and daughter-in-law Kevin & Vickie of West Milton, Kimberly Adams of Vandalia; grandson Kai Adams; special aunt Jo Teague of Tipp City; brother JC Adams of Michigan; sister Lynn Goff of Sidney. He was preceded in death by his son Kenny Adams; special uncle James Teague; brothers Cecil Adams, Junior Adams; sister Billy Marie Adams. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, February 27, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment following at Forest Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
