Carl Evans, 97, of Greenville, husband of Frances Moore Evans, died February 24, 2016.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of John and Susie Leister Evans.

Carl served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of White Horse Heights Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife, two sons, Ken Evans, and Ronald Evans (Kathy); and two daughters, Linda Holland, and Martha Green; 17 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister Bertie Epps.

Entombment: Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
