Robert E. Jones, age 78, of 626 Randolph St. Mishicot, entered into eternal rest Wednesday February 24, 2016 at Bellin Health Hospital in Green Bay.

Bob was born February 9, 1938 in Waitsfield, Vermont to the late Eldon and Charlene Blake Jones. He married the former Delphine Thielbar March 2, 1957 in Manitowoc. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Bob worked with 40 years of service for the Hamilton Manufacturing Co, and worked as Supervisor for 27 of those years. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mishicot, and also a member of the Mishicot Lions Club for 42 years. He was a former member of the Mishicot Senior Center. Bob loved playing cards, fishing, woodworking, the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, traveling, and his sports memorabilia.

He is survived by his loving wife: Delphine, two daughters: Debra Jones, of Two Rivers, Diane Jones, and her special friend: Michael Jacobs, both of Sheboygan, one son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Karen Jones, of Manitowoc, 4 grandchildren: Shawn (Erin) Jones, April Jones and her special friend: Lucas Christiansen, Michael (Brenda) Anderson, Stefanie (Jayce) Delray, 7 great-grandchildren: Jasper, Grant, Ian, Kayce, Noah, Aiden, and Gracie, 4 sisters: Emogene Bancroft, of Vermont, Deidra Anderson, of North Carolina, Gaenol (Allen) Mobus, of Vermont, Nelda Pidgeon, of North Carolina, three brothers: Elwin Jones and his special friend: Rita Hebert, of Vermont, Everette (Brenda) Graves, of Florida, Maurice (Sharon) Graves, of Vermont. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jeanette and Louis Kakuk, of Manitowoc, Donna and Adam Durben, of Two Rivers, Darlene and Curt Burch, of Athelstane, Nancy Thielbar, of Boldt, Nancy Pietroske, of Two Rivers, Marion and Brian Denil, of Denmark and by his nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday February 29, 2016 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mishicot, with the Reverend Robert Johannes officiating with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum, Hwy. 310 Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot. Visitation will continue after 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the church, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Following the service Military Rites will be accorded by the Mishicot VFW Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post # 7753.

A memorial fund has been established for St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The Jones family would like to express a very special thank you to the entire staff of both Bellin Health Hospital and Unity Hospice for the special care extended to Bob during his illness. Your care and kindness will always be remembered.
