Mrs. Sarah Grimes died yesterday evening (July 16) at 8 o'clock, at the home of Mrs. R. L. Penry, in Lexington. Mrs. Grimes was seventy-two years old. She had been sick for several months; Brights disease was the immediate cause of her death. She will be buried tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at Beulah church, a few miles from Lexington.
Deceased was the mother of Messrs. John D. and T. J. Grimes, Mrs. R. L. Penry and Mrs. D. H. Hinkle, of Lexington and a sister of Mr. Jno. S. Delap, of Yadkin College.
