Physician Dies on
Xmas Morning
SAREPTA, Dec. 25.--Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Baptist church in Haynesville for Dr. Charles T. DeLoach, prominent North Louisiana physician, who died this morning at 8:30 o'clock.
The 54 year-old doctor had been president of the Medical Association of Webster parish, was a member of W.O.W. and was connected with the Masonic orders.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Jennie Thomas DeLoach, he is survived by eight children, his mother, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth DeLoach, several brothers and three sisters. Surviving children are: Trevania, James, J. A., Margeret, Elizabeth, Charline, Doris Jean and Thomas Windell. Sisters are Mrs. Walter Markham, Mrs. Claude C. Lee and Mrs. C.H. Talley, all of Haynesville. Brothers are W. E., G. W., J. O., J. H., Frank, Ira, and L. G.
Services will be in charge of Rev. T. H. Carter of Texarkana, assisted by Rev. A. L. New of Sarepta and Rev. C. D. Wood of Haynesville.
Active pallbearers will be Dr. Ernest Smith, Dr. S. M. Richardson, Dr. S. M. Browning, Dr. S. S. Martin, Dr. Lee Waller and Dr. E. O. Bonds.
All doctors of surrounding parishes will act as honorary pallbearers.
