Elizabeth Mae Helgen, 84, of Lawson, MO entered eternal life February 26th, 2016 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. Elizabeth entered this life June 5th, 1931 in Pattonsburg, MO the daughter of James David Johnson and Edith Fern Johnson (Walker). In 1973 she was united in marriage to Howard Helgen in Lathrop, MO. Prior to retirement she worked for General Motors.

Mrs. Helgen was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by a brother James Johnson and a son Richard Cain.

Survivors include a daughter Margaret Cain of Lawson,MO, daughter Cecilia Jaurequi (Frank) of Saint Joseph, MO, a son Norman (Cindy) Cain of Lawson,MO and a brother David Junior (Velma) Johnson of Raymore, MO. Additional survivors also include 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was loved and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Lathrop Cemetery in Lathrop, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Stith Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lathrop, MO.
