Raymond C. Giberson, 48, of Nanticoke passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Ray liked working and was employed by Price Chopper for 25 years. In his spare time he enjoyed, the outdoors, camping, fishing, building models, watching movies, racing, cooking and church activities. Ray was also very dedicated to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Jane (Solomon) Giberson and a brother, Mark.

Surviving are brothers and sisters; William Jr. and wife, Anna, Jessie, Mike, Nancie and companion, Ron Walker, Dorothy, and Warren and wife, Jennifer; nieces and nephews, Austin, Ethan, Su Lee, Angelina, Samantha and Preston.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, at 2 p.m. at Nebo Baptist Church, 75 South Prospect Street, Nanticoke with Pastor Timothy Hall, officiating.

Private interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery.

To our brother: A shy and humble soul, you departed this world suddenly. The Lord is waiting with open arms. You are loved and will be deeply missed by all your family and friends.
