Shirley Storm Scarlett

Shirley Storm Scarlett, 66, of DeLand, passed away on February 20 at Florida Hospital DeLand. A Deland native, she was a retired LPN.

Born to Joseph Alexander Scarlett, III and Mary Adele Kane, she has been a lifetime resident of this area. Shirley was an active member at the DeLand YMCA and was a proud member of the NRA as well as a strong supporter of the 700 Club.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father and her sister Deborah Ann Bach. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Courtney Storm Hyatt-Moriarty and Kayle Scarlett Campbell both of DeLand, son Brian Stewart Hutson of Daytona, her mother Mary Adele Kane Scarlett Davis of Blue Ridge, NC, 6 grandchildren, Clyde Franklin Hyatt, Kane Alexander Hyatt, Campbell Leann Scott, Jaynie Mae Alexandra Scott, Emmy Elizabeth Scott and Laynie Scarlett Scott.

Sister still living is Alexandra Kane Scarlett Hess and Niece Jodi Elizabeth Long and Nephew Joseph James Hess, both of Deland . Wake service will follow graveside ceremony at 102 Enclave Avenue, Deland
