Bucky was a hardworking man with a big heart, especially for children. He worked in his early years on Emerson Farms until he started working for Tyson Sartin. He worked there for over 40 years and still helped on the farm. He loved country music, old westerns, wrestling and the Miami Dolphins. He had his most fun times dancing with Thelma on Saturday nights to the Jones Boys Band.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma in 2007; his parents, his son-in-law Warren Truman; sisters, Agnes Thompson, Peggy Alexander, and Betty Jo Garrett; brother, John Biddle; and brother-in-law, Allan Emerson.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Barbara (Marvin) Samson, Thelma (Chris) Charles, Ranee (Andrew) Fisher; one son, Charles Biddle; 6 grandsons, Christopher, Brandon, Kyle, Dylan “Charlie”, Bryan and Antwone. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Edith Chas, Thelma Stanley, and Marie (John) Gonce; 2 sisters-in-law’s, Nancy (Jose’) Rosario; and Lois Emerson; 3 brothers-in-law’s, Robert (Sarah) Emerson, Jerry (Phyllis) Emerson, and Jimmy (Debbie) Emerson, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 3, at 11 am at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, DE. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery.
