After an illness due to old age lasting for about one year, Joseph Biebl died at his home near Redstone Tuesday evening at the advanced age of 79 years.
The deceased was born in Bohemia on March 21,1833, and was married to Magdalena Siebert, his surviving widow, in the country of his birth 54 years ago.
In the year 1867 he came to America with his family, first locating in Pennsylvania where he remained for seven years. From there he came to this vicinity where he has since resided.
He is survived by his widow and the following children, all who reside in New Ulm: Frank Biebl, Mary Biebl, Joseph Biebl, Mrs. Lizzie Gag, Lena Biebl and John Biebl.
Funeral services were held at the residence Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock and at the Congregational Church at 2 o'clock, Rev. Wheeler officiating. Interment was made at the City cemetery.

The Biebl Family Plot #330 appears to have only the Family stone which simply has "BIEBL FAMILY". There are no names or dates. There are no visible flat stones in the area for the individuals.
