Diedrich, Gilbert Ambrose (Oct. 1, 1936-Nov. 9, 2010 –husband of Janice Kaderabek [married Sept. 6, 1958 at St. Paul Catholic Church, City of Manitowoc] –son of George Diedrich and Cecelia Grenzer –born in City of Manitowoc –on Aug. 17, 1965 purchased a lot from his parents’ farm at 8319 Pigeon Lake Road in Section 28, Town of Liberty and had a house built at 8223 Pigeon Lake Road –Gilbert lived in this house until his death in 2010 –on July 16, 1998 purchased from his son Jeffrey Diedrich the vacant 2.69 acre lot at 6830 County J in Section 20, Town of Liberty –on Nov. 3, 1998 Gilbert sold this vacant lot to his unmarried daughter Cheryl Diedrich –“Gil was employed with Weyerhaeuser of Manitowoc for 12 years and then with Kohler Company from 1977 until his retirement in 1999.” –from obit) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 6, Row 2, Lot 30] [marriage record Manitowoc 49-451] [death record Manitowoc 124-141]

GILBERT A. DIEDRICH, age 74, of 8223 Pigeon Lake Rd., Valders, died on Tuesday morning, Nov. 9, 2010, at his residence.

Gilbert was born Oct. 1, 1936, in Manitowoc, son of the late George and Cecilia (Grenzer) Diedrich. He was a graduate of Valders High School. On Sept. 6, 1958, he married the former Janice M. Kaderabek in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on June 12, 1997. Gil was employed with Weyerhaueser of Manitowoc for 12 years and then with Kohler Company from 1977 until his retirement in 1999.

He was also preceded in death by one brother: Raymond Diedrich; and one sister-in-law: Karen Gadzinski.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Michael Bigley with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz.
The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
