Dorothy L. Graeger, age 90, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Sunday morning, February 28, 2016 at the Artisan Senior Living in Manitowoc.
Dorothy was born on July 21, 1925 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin W. and Inez Buell Benfield. Dorothy had been employed at the Elbow Room Restaurant in Manitowoc for 29 years. On June 25, 1966 she married Ronald W. Graeger at Wesley United Methodist Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2008.
She is survived by one brother: Kenneth Benfield, Manitowoc; one sister: Donna Lindholm, Manitowoc; daughter-in-law: Linda Pyles, Ormond Beach, FL; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Harrison) Taylor, Mandalyn (Marty) Hanson and Michael W. Pyles; twelve great grandchildren: Shannon Sikes, William Hanson, Annika and Harrison Taylor, Joyelle, Michaela, Cameron, Davion, Kieara, and Kaylah Pyles, Gregory and Darius Creighton; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin and Inez Benfield; husband Ronald Graeger; son: Benjamin Pyles; daughter and son-in-law: Lynda and Jerome Feil; sister-in-law: Debora Benefield; brother-in-law: Alfred Lindholm.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Guy Corrigall. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
