Bobbie Evans Luman, 62, of Jasper passed away at her home on Sunday, February 28, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Pineland, Texas at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine County. The family will greet friends on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
A native of Center, Texas, she was born on April 16, 1953 to J.B. & Bobbie Jean Rash Evans.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dale Luman, parents J.B. & Bobbie Evans, brother James Ray Evans, and a sister Annie Jean.
She is survived by her son Thomas Parker of Jasper, Texas; daughter Christina Parker of New Mexico; daughter/granddaughter Tabitha Luman of Jasper; and a grandson Junior. She is also survived by sisters Sunny & husband Keith Carlton of Jasper, Judy & husband Vernon Wolff of Brookeland, Donice & husband Bubba Smith of Belton, Eloise & husband Melton Kincel of Hemphill, Elaine & husband Chuck Hurlburt of Jasper, Linda & husband Kenneth Berry of Deweyville, and Odessa & husband William Glass of Moscow; a brother Jimmy Evans of Jasper; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
