Betty Jo Miser Roberts, age 80, of Niota, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016, at her home. She was born on September 6, 1935. She was the longest attending member of Rockview Baptist Church of Niota, a well - known cake baker in the area. Preceded in death by her husband: Lige Roberts, daughter of the late: Lee and Nancy Miller Miser, siblings: Mollie Poore, Goldie Moore, Iva Johnson, Ernest Miser, and twin brother: Bobby Miser. Survivors include her children and spouses: Liz and Robert Harris, Karen Revis, Steve and Diane Roberts, of Niota, Maycie and Eric Goins, of Athens, grandchildren: Cindy Baxter, Justin, Jarred Harris, Andy Revis, Jacob, Hayley Roberts, Logan, Jackson, Gracelyn, Avarie Goins, great-grandchildren: Katlyn and Houston Baxter, special friends and neighbors: Oca Crain, and Larry McCosh, several nieces and nephews, pall bears: Justin and Jarred Harris, Andy Revis, Jacob Roberts, Jack Miser, Rick Miller, Vick Miller. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Rockview Baptist Church 401 County Rd 279, Niota, TN 37826, from 5:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 8:00P.M. with Rev.
