Walter spent most of his life in Rhea County. He proudly served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp. He loved camping, working in his garden, and loved to ride trains. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and always had a friendly smile and wave.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Patricia "Pat" Coulter.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5 - 7 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m. at Click Funeral Home and Cremations, 9020 Middlebrook Pike Knoxville, TN 37923. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Abel Cemetery in Rhea County with full Military honors.
