Smith came to Oklahoma from Iowa in 1901, and lived at El Reno until 1918, when he moved here. During most of this time he was a salesman for the J.I. Case Company.
Surviving are his wife, three brothers, J.B., Charles F., Dustin, Neb. and Fred E. Boise, Idaho; and three sisters. Mrs. Ada Updegraph, Seattle, Wash; Mrs. Clara Shinn, Sioux City, Iowa; and Mrs. E. E. Davis, Tucson, Ariz.
