Beulah was the daughter of Jess and Lucy Riechelson-Ohlsen. She graduated from Whiting High School in 1940 and lived all her life in the Whiting community. She was a lifetime member of the Whiting Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She married to Lee D. Snavely on December 17, 1942 in Holton, KS. Lee passed away on October 20, 1996. Other survivors include: four sons, Roy Lee Snavely, Silver Lake, KS, Richard Allen Snavely, Whiting, KS, Michael Lee Snavely, Whiting, KS, and Joseph Leonard Snavely, Overbrook, KS; two daughters, Patricia Williams, Whiting, KS and Phyllis Snavely, Cody, WY; a brother, Bernard Ohlsen, Whiting, KS; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Snavely; three sisters, Kathleen Wilbur, Irene Higby, and Lorraine Wenger; a brother, Leonard Ohlsen.
