Clarice Taylor
A memorial service will be held this summer for Clarice Helen Taylor of Eugene, who died April 28 (2003) of age-related causes. She was 95.
Taylor was born April 20, 1908, in Pierceville, Kan., to William and Blanche Wells Coltrane. She married Floyd Taylor in Drain on Nov. 29, 1928. He died August 13, 1988.
She moved to Cottage Grove in 1935 and settled in Eugene in 1942. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and traveling. She was a member of the Eagles and a home extension group, and she served as a Cub Scout leader.
Survivors include a son, Leroy of Brookings; a brother, Glen Coltrane of Fall Creek; a sister, Marjorie Almgren of Albany; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
