Dave was born in Cripple Creek Colorado. He grew up as a child in Colorado Springs before he moved to La Mirada, California where he raised his family. Then in 1975 he and his family moved to God's country, Auburn, CA. He was co-owner of G.I. Joe's Surplus and then he worked for Anderson Sierra Pipe for many years. Dave was a proud member and volunteer of many organizations: St. Teressa of Avila Parish, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Men's Bible Study breakfast and Monday Morning Bible Study, Men in Missions, Sizzler Senior Luncheons, Elks Lodge 1691, Knights of Columbus 6149, and was proud to be 3rd Degree Knight, Italian Catholic Federation.
Dave's favorite verse in the Bible was John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not parish, but have everlasting life" Dave quoted this so often, he earned the nic-name John 3:16.
Dave was very proud to be a U.S. Marine and had been stationed at El Toro, CA.
Dave is survived by his third wife Aggie Adams and his children: Dale and (Sherrie) Adams, Tammy and (Matt) Davis, Teri and (Larry) Jackson, Lea-Anna Canevit, Joanne and (Jeff) Dodd, Janet Milam, Craig Milam, 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
.....Donations in lieu of flowers may be dropped off or sent to The David Adams Memorial Brick Fund at St. Teressa of Avila Parish.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 19th at 11:00am at St. Teressa of Avila Parish, 11600 Atwood Road, Auburn, CA 95603.
