Betty "BJ" Stone, 89, went peacefully with the Lord Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Celebration of Life: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood. Betty was born July 26, 1926, in Los Angeles, Calif. She later moved to Fort Worth and married NH "Britt" Stone. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, teacher and author. She enjoyed music, card games and her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Survivors: Children, Meryl Lee, Clay and Juli Stone; grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Heather, Jacob and Sadie; great-grandchild, Edrick Lee; a host of extended family and friends.
