MRS. NETTIE LEAR
MONROE CITY, Mo. — Mrs. Nettie Barron Lear, 87, of Hunnewell, died Saturday (April 26, 1969 ) at 8:35 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Hannibal.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Garner Funeral Home in Monroe City with the Rev. Gerald Brannon officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF cemetery in Shelbina.
Mrs. Lear was born Nov. 16, 1881, in Pike County, a daughter of Nimrod and Catherine Hammett Darnell. She was married to Lafa Ingram, who died Dec. 17, 1933. She married Mack Lear in Hannibal Feb. 28, 1940.
Mrs. Lear attended schools in Pike County. She was a member of the Hunnewell Christian Church. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Cecil and Russell Ingram of Monroe City, and Pete Ingram of Hunnewell; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
