Son of Joseph and Ella Carley Aiken, he married Hila Porter, was widowed (actually, divorced), was a laborer of odd jobs, lived at 3 Pennsylvania Ave, Franklin, died at 304 Rocky Grove Ave, Rocky Grove (Franklin), where he'd been 5 years, of cancer with metastasis, per death certificate 114112, whose informant was Clark Aiken, 304 Rocky Grove Ave. Buried Dec 8 1942.

Job Milton Aiken, 75, of 124 Pennsylvania Avenue, died at 11 pm Saturday at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clark Aiken, 304 Rocky Grove Avenue, where he was moved last week when he became ill. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Aiken, born in Jefferson County June 3 1867.

He lived all his life in Jefferson County until five years ago, when he moved to Franklin and lived since. He acquired many friends during his time here.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Clark Aiken of Rocky Grove, and Franklin M. Aiken of Clintonville; a brother, William J. Aiken of Strattanville; three half brothers, Robert H. Aiken and John D. Aiken of Jefferson County, and Robert (?) P. Aiken of Ashtabula, OH; two half-sisters, Mrs. Clinton J. Anthony of Apollo, and Mrs. Annie J. Fairman of Jenningsville, PA; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Barron Chapel with Rev. John Bargar pastor of the Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
