She was born May 19, 1935 to the late Roy and Bradie Bryan Beasley, Sr. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Lensey Barnes and her brother, Roy Beasley, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the residence of Lee and Harriet Barnes.
