Christopher immigrated to the United States with his parents in 1844 when he was 8 years old.
He married Anna Maria Stackerl.
On June 4, 1880,
C. Christoph & Annie, ages 45 & 42, lived in Precinct 3, 5 and 8, Clay Co, TX where he was a laborer. Their children were Mary, age 17; Lizzie, 15; Annie, 13; John, 12; Josie, 11; Louis, 9; Valintine, 8; Callie, 4; & Emma, 2.
On June 9, 1900,
C. Christoph & Annie, ages 63 7 60, lived in Amarillo, Potter Co, TX, where Christopher worked as a Stone Mason. They had been married 40 years; Annie had given birth to 11 children who were still living. Children at home were Joe, age 25; Emma, 22; Charlie, 19; & Lillie, 16. Charles Peterson, 21, was a day laborer who was boarding with them.
On April 22, 1910,
Criss & Annie, ages 74 & 71, owned a home on Harrison St. in Amarillo. They had been married 50 years; their 11 children were still living. Their daughter & son-in-law, Lillie & William E. Cox, ages 26 & 31, lived with them. They had been married one year; William was a brakeman on the railroad.
Annie died the following month on May 23, 1910, from an Aortic Aneurysm.
Christopher was in Childress, TX when he died at the age of 82 years and 9 days.
