Marcella, 80, of St. Henry, formerly of the Coldwater area and Shane's Village, Rockford, died at The Gardens at St. Henry.

She was born to William and Josephine Heyne Reier. On Sept. 12, 1945, she married Wilbert J. Westgerdes, who is deceased.

Surviving are three sons, Dale (Patty) of Kewanee, Ill., Neal (Becky) of Alameda, Calif., and Earl (Carol) of St. Henry; a daughter, Jane (Richard) Braun, Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Elizabeth Lange and Mary (Ray) Wenning, all of Coldwater; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jerry Heyne; a sister, Julianna Brackman; and a great-grandchild.

A homemaker, she formerly worked at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church rectory in Celina and Buckeye Apparel in Coldwater. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and St. Cecelia Knights of St. John Auxiliary, both of Coldwater, the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Minster, and the Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality of St. Marys Catholic Church, Philothea.

Funeral Mass was at the Coldwater church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating.
