She was a homemaker and a Waterford High School graduate. She was a member of the Faith Joy Fellowship Church. She loved farming and spent a lot of long hours working on the family farm. She loved music and spread her musical talents for many years volunteering at churches, nursing homes and the community. Along with her lifelong volunteering, she also spread joy to her family, friends and the community by her great love of cooking and shared this generously.
She was married on October 20, 1942 to Wilfred A. Schott who died August 24, 1992. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Huck and husband Dan of Vincent and Barbara Fleckenstein and husband Larry of Iowa City, Iowa; a son, Greg Schott and wife Tanya of Tampa, Florida; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; a sister, Eunice Duncan of Royston, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Jeffrey Schott; two daughters, Judi Spung and Patti Watson; a grandchild, Malcolm Huck; and two brothers, Melvin and Dow Wagner.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Beverly Cemetery with Pastor Duane Huck officiating.
