Brother of Helen Barlion, JoAnn Dietch, Kay Shouse, and Robert Hawkins; Preceded in death by brothers Jerry and Richard Hawkins. Naval veteran of World War II and Korean War. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Aleutian Islands and Johnsonville Naval Air Experimental Base. Past Commander of the Wesley Werner American Legion Post 513. Former member of the Men of Ohio Drum and Bugle Corp.| . He passed away on February 15, 2005 at the age of 81. Residence Springfield Twp. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 5-7:30 P.M. with an American Legion servie at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1 P.M. at the funeral home followed by full military honors by Wesley Werner Post 513 at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be sent to VITAS Hospice, 11500 Northlake Drive, Suite 400, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
