Son of John Fewell Jr. & Martha "Patsy" Burns; husband of Margaret Barron; father of twelve children; Presbyterian; one of the first settlers in the Ebenezer area.
1860 Census: "Planter"; $20,000 RP; $32,500 PP.

Regarding middle name: Some believe his middle name was Faulkner (same as his eldest son); others believe it was not (suggesting his middle name is unknown or that he had none). I have received edit requests going back and forth. I would be glad to add the Faulkner middle name if anyone submits documentation -- until then will leave this field blank, falling back on FG policy to use the name on the grave stone.
