W J Brown is the son of Logan And Sarah Brown. They moved from Tennessee to Kentucky and on to Crawford County Arkansas.There William farmed and later owned a Boarding House in Alma. He married Mary Ann Riley Aug 18,1878 in Alma Arkansas. They had 7 daughters and 1 son .Mary and William moved to Texas in 1913. They owned 2 different boarding houses in Dallas.One on Jackson St.and the other on Canton. Later moving to Trinity Heights in Oak Cliff .William died in Parkland Hospital he had been living on Swiss ave with his son Oather (Bud). Upon visiting the Cemetery I have learned that William and Mary Ann markers are missing.
