Born in Salisbury Twp., she was the daughter of the late J. Willis and Alice (Stanley) Diem. Her husband, R. Donald Weaver, died Nov. 5, 2010.
Janet, together with her husband, were the owners of Weaver Ceramic Molds for 46 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving is a son, Thomas B., married to Shelleen (Derrick) Weaver of New Holland; five grandchildren, Brandy J. Weaver, Caitlin E. Weaver, Sierra R. Gibble, Savannah H. Gibble, and Adrian S. Weaver; two sisters, Evelyn, married to John Bergman of New Holland, and Mary Anna, married to James Brubaker of East Earl; two brothers, John, married to Signey
Diem of Sanibel Island, FL,and James,married to Bonnie Diem of New Holland.
Preceding her in death is a daughter, Tami J. Weaver in 2006; and a grandson, Tyler D. Weaver in 2014.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12 at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with the Reverend Richard Whitesel officiating. Interment will be in the Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, at the Funeral Home, from 6-8 pm and on Saturday from 9-10 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Four Diamonds Fund, 90 Hope Dr, Hershey, PA 17033 or to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
